Q: How do I make an appointment?
A: Appointments can be made either by calling 0208 8538282, email contact@thecuriouscomb.com or through the 'Contact Us' page.  It is advisable to book in advance if there is a specific date and time that you require.
 
Please include the following information in your correspondance:
- Full name
- Contact details (phone and email)
- Preferred date and time for appointment (please give at least two options)
- Services required
 
If booking by email, Note: If  you make an appointment via email, please wait for a reply to make sure your booking is confirmed!
 
Q: How do I cancel an appointment?

A: If you find yourself unable to keep your appointment, we request at least 24 hours notice.  Please call us on 0208 853 8282 to cancel your appointment.

 

Clients who do not honour their appointments will be charged a cancellation fee of  50% of the total cost of their booked service.

 

This courtesy enables us to schedule another client and in turn, maintains a higher availability of services for you as well as others.

 

Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A: Cash and all major Credit/Debit cards except American Express. 
(Minimum spend on Credit/Debit card is £10).  Unfortunately we no longer accept Cheques. 
 
Q: Is there parking?
A: There is plentiful free parking near the salon with a maximum stay of 2 hours.
 
Q: Is the salon animal/children friendly?
A: The salon is animal/children friendly as long as they are well-behaved!
 
Q: What is the difference between a 'cut & blowdry' and a 'restyle'?
A: A cut & blowdry generally refers to a trim of the same style you previously had.  A restyle refers to a complete change of style whether that be having excessive length off, the addition of layers, fringe etc. It is upto your stylist to determine whether the haircut is classed as a restyle or not.  If you are not sure, it is best to come in for a consultation beforehand.
 
 
Q: How long is an appointment held for?
A: Your appointment is held for upto 15 minutes past your allotted time slot.  Beyond that, it is up to your stylist whether they can accommodate your booking.  If you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible!
 
Q: Can I pay at a later date?
A: From past experience, we do not accept payments at a later date and payment must be made immediately after the service.
 
Q: What if I am not happy with my hair cut/colour?
A: Please let us know! We will be more than happy to correct the cut/colour within 7 days of your initial appointment, if it is agreed that there is an issue.  However, this will only apply to the original stylist that had initially cut or coloured your hair.  If you require a different Stylist or have left it longer than 7 days to alert us, an additional charge may apply.
